We have been in the village just over a year and have always felt secure and safe. Not any longer, Saturday night we disturbed an uninvited guest outside our front door wielding my partners drill about. This my partner managed to get back off him, even though he insisted it was his, and did not make any further verbal sense during the short conversation we had with him.  Police arrived within ten minutes but he had long gone via next doors fence collapsing in their garden in the process.   After S.O.C.O had been the following morning and we where allowed to re enter the shed he had taken a number of items of value, which had been well hidden on his person and we only found had gone afterwards.  Thank you to everyone that has been so supportive it is appreciated. and to our intruder:- Cheers for the inconvenience you have put us through, and the extra unexpected expense you have given us. I trust that you have no conscience, guilt or aware of peoples assets.

Hi My name is Rosemary Jackson, I am informed that I have been blocked from being a Member of LINGDALE FORUM---MY QUESTION IS----WHY. I have been a former Councillors 12yrs for Lingdale, Secretary for the Lingdale Young Wives club 5 yrs, Secretary & Organizer for the Lingdale Ladies Choir, The Organizer of the Lingdale Jazz Band, I have supported both Churches, the Village Hall, Lingdale Lift Off, etc.What more could anyone do for the People & Village.   Who has Blocked me & Why please. Hi I'm thinking of moving to Lingdale and I wondered if anyone can tell me what it's like ., in particular the cedar hurst drive area. I have a grown up son and a small daughter so school information for that area would be appreciated and also public transport and local amenities, thank you.
