Does anyone know why there has been a lot of big fireworks in Minehead   lately?

There was a recent post from Rachel Nemmo about a letter she received from one of J.W's. Just a question...is she allowed to put the person's full name on a chat room without their knowledge ? I'm thinking that against GDPR laws  🤔.

I'm looking for my sister, Lois. The address I have is in Minehead. I haven't heard from her since last Christmas despite sending letters etc. I have tried  her phone number but it no longer works. I have also visited Minehead but no luck. I live 200 miles away so it is difficult to look for her. I am concerned for her welfare and wondered if anyone had seen her recently. At least then, I would know she was alright. She is 69 with long greyish hair. She has been known to sit outside Costa, Oggies coffee and Bar 21. Please, if anyone knows her or has seen her, I would be so grateful for any information just to set my mind at rest.

Due to increasing demand for one of our innovative client services we are looking for experienced retail professionals to join the team at WAVE to complete ad-hoc work potentially around other commitments you may have.

The Role:

Our “On Demand” service offers our clients the flexibility to resolve product availability issues instore at pace and that’s where you come in!

Our innovative alerting system will generate visits in specific store locations in and around the area relating to a product issue. This alert will then in turn be passed to our team to head out to the relevant outlet and investigate the issue and address within 48 to 72 Hours. Corrective measures could be simply checking stock levels in store or merchandising product in-store, either way when you leave the issue will be resolved and you will report back the information via our smart phone reporting app.

These calls are typically between 45mins to 1 Hour max so in theory could be done around other commitment’s you have , these are real time issues across our clients suite of products so volumes of calls fluctuate and we cant guarantee a set amount per day/week/month.

Active Selling – To actively sell a product means that your goal is to make consumers/customers aware that your products exists, and to actively convince them through F&Bs that they need to/should buy it.

Compliance Audit – Ensuring retailer compliance to brand standards, checking planograms and stock.

The Package:

-Competitive hourly rate – this may vary based on the tasks required

-Mileage remuneration ( Capped)

-Group training events

-Flexible working hours, chosen by you within the activity timeframes

About You:

Wave would like to speak to candidates who are dynamic, confident and who are able to work flexibly.

Although experience within Retail and Field Marketing is a plus, it isn’t essential as full training will be given.

Essential Criteria

-Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle

-Use of a smart phone supporting iOS or Android Software

-Happy to work under a zero-hour contract / Casual working agreement

I lost my leopard print bag yesterday while I was coming back from my holiday , I left it in the toilets and it’s got some valuable items  , I uploaded a picture from the internet which looks similar to my lost bag 

Lost in McDonald's  minehead, black baseball cap,  North face logo.  Please if anyone picked it up, hand it in. One upset lad.

Camera was lost during walk on the northern edge of town. Lost on Saturday 22nd June 2019 at about 4.30 It was dropped either near road going up the hill just outside town (Moor Road /Hill or on the footpath leading back towards town.

We have lost a pair of bmw keys on minehead beach/ around minehead. 

The keys have a plastic duck on and also a silver torch.
