We have just moved into the new Barrett Homes development in New Hartley and there doesn’t seem to be a local neighbourhood watch scheme in operation, can anybody advise if there are plans to set one up.

Pluto Posted by Pluto in Coronavirus in New Hartley: Covid-19 discussion, news and updates on Tue Dec 27, 2022 11:17pm

In 2020 I was banned because of comment I made about covid and the vaccines, in particular dangerous side effects.

Don’t get me wrong, I am not anti-vaccine but I am anti-covid vaccine.

I was given a lot of abuse from certain brainwashed, woke, PC individuals about my opinions.  Since then I have been proved right. I hope those people have came to their senses and have not suffered the side effects that I have over the past 18 months. Incidentally, I know many others who are suffering. These vaccines are dangerous and can be Fatal. Anyone who is considering having more of these injections, think again.

I am trying to trace my family (Walton) - 0 replies

caroldowdeswell Posted by caroldowdeswell in Ancestry and family history in New Hartley on Sun Oct 9, 2016 7:33pm

I believe that my Great Grandad James Walton was born in New Hartley. In the year of 1855, but i seem to be having trouble finding out his father and mothers details. I also believe that James lived with his Grandparents in Felton, at an early age.On James marriage certificate it states that his father was named Robert Walton, and that both James and Robert were Stonemasons. There is a chance that James mothers name was Scott before she married.I seem to be having trouble joining up the tree. I have spent many hours looking on ancestry.co .uk. but nothing seems to be set in stone. If anyone there can help me in my quest I would greatly appreciate it.
