UPDATE: We have found Nunuu! Thanks for all your support and contact. Sincerely appreciate it.

afternoon all, our cat nunuu managed to sneak out of our house around 10pm last night without her collar on. we live right next to Peckham Rye Park and went looking for her but couldn’t find her and she hasn’t come back to the house since. she tends to get lost easily and can end up a fair few streets away. if anyone spots her in nunhead or the neighbouring neighbourhoods please call or text me on 07753135787, and I can come and collect her. she’s really easy and very friendly, thank you so much for your help!

ROCK SCHOOL HOLIDAY MUSIC WORKSHOPS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE - 0 replies

rockschool Posted by rockschool in Things to do and what's on in Nunhead on Thu Jun 1, 2023 6:26pm

Is your child a talented musician who lacks the opportunity to form a band or play live music? Unfortunately, its quite tough for children to form bands and really put what they have learned to the test, so I and several other musicians decided to form Rock School.

Rock School is a four-day holiday workshop held at the The Ivy House in Nunhead in which myself and three other DBS-checked professional musicians will help your child learn covers, write their own songs and play in a band with other children their age.

The workshop runs on the 24th, 25th, 27th and 28th July with a gig on the afternoon of the 29th July that friends and family are welcome to attend!

If your child is a talented musician who wants the opportunity to meet other musicians their age and form a band, then contact us!

Objection to controlled parking in Nunhead - 1 replies

shygalroo Posted by shygalroo in General Nunhead discussion on Mon May 8, 2023 8:31pm

Dear residents of Nunhead,

I am sure you have received the letter from Southwark regarding added controlled parking to Nunhead. If you are against this planned implementation of parking restrictions please use the following email to object at [email protected]  cc [email protected]

Please also sign the petition https://chng.it/X65fd6Nfbc

Dear sir/madam,

I am writing to express my concerns about the proposal for parking-controlled zones in Nunhead. As a resident of this area, I believe that this measure seems unnecessary and inconvenient. It will only add to the financial burden of residents who are already experiencing a cost-of-living crisis.

While I understand the importance of regulating parking in busy areas, I don't believe it is difficult in our area. Moreover, the introduction of parking permits can make things worse for locals. This is especially true when considering the risk of hefty fines for parking in the wrong area. I feel that there should be a more equitable solution that doesn't unfairly penalise residents who are just trying to go about their daily lives.

It's unfortunate that the introduction of these zones was decided without first seeking residents' input through a biased questionnaire, which did not ask the question of whether residents wanted the introduction of controlled parking zones in Nunhead. I think the Southwark Council need to reissue this questionnaire to the residents of Nunhead asking if they wish for this measure to be taken.

I hope that you will take my concerns into consideration and work to find a solution that benefits everyone in the community.

Yours faithfully,

LOST KEYS!

I have lost my keys it seems whilst cycling between Nunhead and overhill road SE15 area. I cycled over the top of Peckham rye park past the school and feel I might have lost them on the way

These have irreplaceable items on and would be great help if anyone finds or hears of them being found. If so please could you contact me ASAP.

Thanks in advance
