I am a great believer in recycling items that I have no more use for. I really dont like binning stuff which is in perfectly good condition and has plenty use left in it. I am quite happy to give stuff away for free to a good home The charity shops do a great job of recycling but they have limitations and restrictions on what they can hold. Charity is not a dirty word and in the present financial climate giving goods away for free is good idea  I have two single mattresses in clean condition I would be happy to pass on. Is there some sort of  charity club that deals with electrical goods like computors, mobile phones DVD players etc ?   

PS .I have about 20 jigsaws/wasgijs I would be happy to give away and most of them have all the pieces !

I was amazed and disappointed that the main artery bus service to to the Western General Hospital has been re routed to Cammo. Penicuik by far the the largest town in Midlothian and still expanding has lost this needed and necessary service.To see people having been de bused at Queenferry St Edinburgh waiting for a connection to the hospital beggars belief.

I hope Penicuik residents lobby LRT and local politicians regarding this unacceptable situation.

My name is Kostiantyn. I come with my family from Ukraine. We live in Penicuik. I am currently looking for a job. I have worked as an architect in Ukraine for almost 20 years, but I can also work with my hands (I did some repairs in a flat), I am fond of baking, and I also liked tending my garden.

 I'm currently studying English at college and my level is around A2.

If anyone can offer me an official job, even for a few of days a week, I would be very happy.
