Hello,

me and my partner are going to buy are first home. I’m 25 and my is partner is 31, both respectful jobs as key workers.

We are worried about living in a area that’s classes as rough (not to sound like a snob) but we don’t want to like near chavs or people who are happy to be unemployed. I am from London and currently live in an area like that, which I want nothing to do with, nor my partner.

I just want a bit of insight to what the town is like? I know the area has a high rate of older residents but are their families in the area too, are there things to do? Are there nice places to walk like parks etc. What are the schools like? Crime?

I am very surprised that so few people actually give tips to food delivery drivers.

my grandson has just started delivering for a local takeaway. He delivers in all weathers...uses his own car... gets paid very little and depends on tips.

These delivery drivers save us going out in bad weather...save us petrol...surely to tip a pound or two is worth it
