Fund raising for a friend - 0 replies

Woolleybear Posted by Woolleybear in Healthcare and medical advice in Sidmouth on Tue Jun 29, 2021 8:32am

We have set up a go fund me for a friend and wonderful colleague Val Ranger who is going through a tough time with stomach cancer. The RDE has said there is nothing more they can do after the standard 8 chemo.  Val went for a second opinion to the Royal Marsden in London who have said there is a chance they may be able to help her. However this comes at a cost as the NHS will not step back in & money is tight.

As a community we have stepped in & up to raise funds to give her a fighting chance. If you know of Val and her work in the community & wish to donate, please go to “go fund me “ & put in Val ranger & it will take you to her page.

We have raised enough money to take her to the first phase of treatment but this is ongoing so all contributions however small would be gratefully received.

Thank you lesley woolley
