Hi I have been researching my family for a number of years now. My family is Lewin and came from the local area around Barrow upon Soar and Sileby. My ggg grandfather was George Lewin b1841 and married 2 Darby sisters Maria and Fanny. Some of the family moved to Liverpool around the late 1880's. I am now trying to find out what happened to all the children especially the elder ones who's mother was Maria Darby. I am also looking for any photographs of family members. I know there are still many Lewin's in the area and hope maybe some decendents who can help me.

Missing my boy willow. 6yrs old neutered and microchipped no collar. Loved very very very much.  He's very loving and clingy. Always normally in bed with me every night..til he went missing. Willow has been missing near Sileby.  Mill lane. since 7th January. He is loved so so much and sleeps in my arms in bed every night from having him as a tiny kitten. Our much loved Tabby called Theo hasn't been seen since Fri 7th October (cossington) and we are very worried about him. He has been walk-abouts before but not for this long. He has been chipped. He's very friendly, fussy and loves being at home just as much as roaming the fields. We miss him very much. If any one sees a big Tabby with long legs and a long skinny tail please get in touch. Or if you live in the area check your sheds and garages. Thank you.
