Hi,

I have enjoyed Walmley Cricket Club over the years watching matches and having the odd drink in the club, but am concerned that by asking to extend licensing to 11.45 weekdays and 1am weekends they will cause noise disruption to the houses near by and in doing so risk closure if passed when they get complaints to the police and council. I feel this is a risky move and inconsiderate as I know the noise is loud especially for those in the flats where I used to live.

Objections need to be emailed as the licencing department is closed from 22 Dec to 4 Jan and as the staff are working remotely they are not picking post up daily. This leaves little time for locals to object. The picture is of the sign posted on the club gates.

I will be sending my thoughts plus my name and contact details as required and hope the club will consider its neighbours as noise after 1030 makes sleep difficult.
