Posted by I parked my car by the Nisa store at the top of Brampton Road. I started to walk towards the shops and had just stepped onto the pavement when a bird-brained moron on an electric scooter shot past at about 30 mph (and, yes, I do know what 30 mph looks like!) missing me by less than a centimeter!! If he had hit me I would be writing this from A & E in QEH!
I understand it is illegal to ride these dangerous machines on the pavement so why is no-one doing anything to stop them?
The guy was in his mid-30's, about 5'8" to 5'10" and about 13 st., black curly hair and beard. If you see him approaching, RUN......he does NOT slow down!!
