I am Chairman of Wragby Heritage Group. Over the period of lockdown it has been great to see so many people cycling in Wragby, especially families cycling together, Lack of traffic on the roads meant it was safe to do so, but now things are back to normal and the traffic flow through Wragby is as bad as ever, with speed limits being often ignored. It would be nice if children could feel safe to cycle to school, people could feel safer cycling to the shops or just for leisure and exercise.
A request has been sent to Lincolnshire County Council asking about the possibility of cycle paths through the village and from Wragby to Rand. The government has stated its intention to give money to councils to facilitate the furtherance of pedestrian and cycling access to communities.
Watch this space but we are looking for support and, down the line, may ask as many people as possible to write to the Council, including our County Councillor. Please don’t do anything yet as we are waiting for more information.
Will the Heritage Group have your support?
I believe there have been some angels visiting the area. Did anyone else see them?

I would like to express my thanks to the very kind lady and her daughter that helped me last Friday when I had difficulty in walking back home
after visiting the village shops in Wragby. The lady was off to play golf later in the day. I hope that the weather was as kind to her as she was
to me. They were both understanding of my situation, did not rush me at all and were perfect. I only hope all residents could be treated
similarly, that's what living in a village means!
