I am searching for the family of the late Douglas Thomas Jones born Bedlinog 24th July 1936 and died after being shot in Cyprus 11th February 1956 while serving in the RAF. Douglas's body was brought home from Cyprus by his parents to be buried in Bedlinog.
Douglas's father was Caradog Jones and his home address was Chapel St Bedlinog.
The reason for my search is to tell his family that since 2009 his next of kin are eligible to receive The Elizabeth Cross, for more information Google Les Smith Cyprus Veteran.
