As an evacuee to east Buckland in 1940 I would like to make contact with anyone who remembers those times in the village. I stayed with Mr and Mrs Coles at Lower Pit Farm and still have good memories of my time there. The people I knew were Farmer Stembridge and Tom and Mrs Way and Evelyn Way at Higher Pit Farm. Tom Way was signalman at Swimbridge station. Mr and Mrs Pattison. Mr and Mrs Scot and son David from above Crosspark. Fred Skinner and his wife at the cross. I would bemost interested to make contact with anyone who was around then, or whose parents were there. Thank you

John
