Possibly moving to Erdington
I am hoping this forum is still going and my message reaches someone. I have just had an offer accepted on a house in Erdington after relocating from Yorkshire with work. Love the house, it's on a small cul de sac in between Gravelly Hill and Erdington (I think!) but now having doubts after hearing about the areas bad reputation (mainly from family in Kings Heath who obviously think that's the only place you should live in Brum, personally I don't think it's worth all the hype it gets) anyway I am a single mature (ish) woman and I'll be living on my own with my little dog who I will want to walk 3 times a day and feel safe (although to be honest I never like walking her late at night anyway so she has to make do with the garden then because not sure anyway is safe at night these days). Anyway I'm hoping someone on here might be familiar with where I am thinking of buying and let me know their valued opinion. Not sure if I should put exact location but it's close to Kingsbury Road.
