My love is nothing like the Red, Red, Rose
That's newly sprung in June
It's nothing like young Romeo's rant
Or sweet Juliet's innocent bloom
And it's nothing like a Brief Encounter
In an old-world waiting room.
It's just a great big love
Straight from the heart
For you and you and you.
