Today we have seen flooding in several areas of the village.  But we are particularly concerned about the flooding at the bottom of Tanners Road.

Even when we had flooding across the area, in 2012 I think, we did not see anything and the rivers coped with the volume of water.

This raises the question why has it happened now?  Surely it is NOT a coincidence that there is building work happening in the higher fields from the park.

Surely the Parish council need to be in discussion with the developers immediately to question the continuing development and a solution for the future to prevent this happening again.

It would be reassuring to know when this has happened and the outcome.  Perhaps a village meeting needs to be called?

(There are plenty of photos and film on the facebook forum page.)
