Pooh what a Pong
31/8/2019 What is the awful smell in the air in Lechlade this evening I spent some time on my allotments at Kelmscott this afternoon and when I got back I took a trip to Swindon where I did some shopping in the giant Tesco upon my return to Lechlade there was an awful stench in the air as I turned into the High Street and the Burford Road Its 20.36 and the gut rotting odour is still all-pervasive now I know farmers spray pretty awful stuff on their fields from time to time but this is different . Anyone got any idea what it is and where it is If this is the work of a Farmer its bang out of order. people like to sit in their gardens at this time of the year. Failing any further info anyone know where I can get a gas mask I also noticed that the intended road works (cancelled) are still advertised on the Horseshoe Roundabout lighting Poles perhaps this is is something to do with the Pong .
