Cowboy Builders

Bad experiences this year by cowboy builders. The building industry is so busy even the cowboys are busy and the building industry remains unregulated.

Has anyone had work done by JM Mechanical Moran plumbing or Karl O'Donaghue ???

My personal experience below:

Karl O'Donaghue destroyed my late parents house I was renovating leaving us homeless and caused structural damage which has been a hard journey to recover from.

Moran Plumbing has carried out botched plumbing in the house which now has to be ripped out by another plumber. The surveyor has completed a report on defective heating and plumbing which would never have worked additionally Gas Safe have condemned his work high risk and building regulations have reported the damage he has caused to supporting floor joists.

I now have to pay another plumber to strip out all the botch central heating and plumbing and start again. John Moran also tried to trick me into paying his bill as if he had completed all the bathrooms then stole two £800 gold lusso shower sets to use as blackmail for me paying a bill for work not done.

I would not trust him in your house. Moran plumbing has completely lost the integrity of supporting floor joists taking huge chunks out of center joists making my house unsafe and was intending to place a heavy bath on top which would have fallen through.

John Moran was requested to meet building regs with the builder  remove all his pipes from the ceiling joists to rebuild the ceiling which he failed to cooperate with. Manifold under a bath which would never have fitted additionally with no access with poor press joints crying out for leaks , plus only one manifold feeding 16 rads 9 with 10mm plastic pipes It was reported by the RICS surveyorperts the central heating would never have worked and would have placed strain on the boiler causing damage to boiler and rads plus 10mm pipes crimped to designer rads which would not have worked, see photo.
