Fortismere Community Choir and Symphony Orchestra are holding open rehearsals at the start of the new term for anyone interested in joining a choir or orchestra. More details below!
The Symphony Orchestra is looking to recruit some new string and brass players - anyone interested in trying us out is very welcome to join us for the first two rehearsals of the new term on 9th and 16th January, 7 pm. We will be starting rehearsals for our next concert which will be Beethoven's Fidelio overture, Schubert 8th Symphony and Brahms' 2nd Piano Concerto. String players should be Grade 6 or above, brass players minimum Grade 8.
Everyone welcome to try out our friendly, unauditioned yet very ambitious community choir! The first two rehearsals on 13th and 20th January are open to singers of all ages and experience. Tenors and basses particularly welcome. We will be starting rehearsals for our next performance - the beautiful and profound Mozart Requiem.
