Lost: LURCHER 'BEAR' MISSING/STOLEN FROM BN8 - 0 replies

Frederica76 Posted by Frederica76 in Lost and found in Dorking on Sun Nov 14, 2021 1:56pm

Please keep your eyes open for our Lurcher Bear.   He went missing/stolen at the end of March from BN8 Ringmer, Nr. Lewes but we have good reason to believe he may be in the Surrey area.  Possible sighting in June being thrown out of a white van by a woman at the Shell Garage in Godstone Hill.   Bear is a Whippet x Bedlington - so not overly tall.  He is light brown with white chest, nose, 4 white feet and a white tip to his tail.  His coat is rough not smooth.

He is chipped (but this may have been cut out) and was wearing a thick brown leather collar when he was stolen.  He is a gentle soul but would be in survival mode now and very nervous indeed.  We have had possible sightings in Godstone but these haven't come to anything.  Posters are up everywhere.  He has more than 12k shares on social media.  He is loved and missed by everybody.    We are mentally drained and distraught.

If you think you have seen Bear or heard anything however insignificant it may seem - please, please contact us.  We need your help.  Any information will be treated in confidence.

Thank you so much.

Arts and Crafts - silhouette portrait 2 - 0 replies

Si Posted by Si in General Dorking discussion on Sat Apr 24, 2021 7:52pm

Hi everyone, not been here for a while and I have an Arts and Crafts question. I’m looking for anyone who may own or has access to a Silhouette Portrait 2 or 3 (Digital vinyl cutter) who could cut me some ‘masks’

I have a large resource so Arts and Crafts products that I could share or borrow in return or I’ll pay someone (time/labour/materials) who has one of these machines. I am a 3D CAD modeller who can produce designs you may need for your own projects.

If anyone has any leads please let me know.

Best regards,

Simon.
