Good to see you Hugh. Can you recommend a Joiner?  to fit a banister of only 4 star steps.

Stairway to Heaven - Eddie Cochran 1959. Let me check my list of slaves and I'll get back to you.

Ex Street Life here to annoy everyone as usual. - I see it is awkward to cover the whole area at on eposting so are we limited to Aldwick or can Middleton people see the posts as on streetlife?

Hey Hugh so glad you joined!

If we have patience and work with Jan and Alex, I am sure that on here we can achieve an even better site than Streetlife.

Hugh.  On this site I am currently picking up Middleton, Aldwick, and Norwich sites so I am sure going forward, we can band all local sites together for easy access.

Onward and upward!

Liven up - doubt it area too restricted as only can see messages from Aldwick or Bognor or wherever you pick from the drop down list - too much frigging about. Must be a better way. If we stay on NEXTDOOR but don't post anything for a couple of weeks perhaps they'll get the message.

Hell everyone. I'm ex Streetlife.  I can see all and I'm in Pagham.

What I don't understand is why I do not get any notifications when a post appears ?, on Streetlife I had a round up every morning, this notification received today was the first for almost a month, I had just about given up. I didn't even know Hugh had turned up on this site - a very welcome contributor. I think the biggest problem is the software is not very user friendly, with too many links required to find anything. A summary of recent posts in the basic e notification would help, like Streetlife had

Phil - you are only repeating what I have been saying for the past couple of months - perhaps NEXTDOOR wasn't that bad but now there is hardly any of the old gang about on there.

I think the neighbourhood stuff is past it's sell by date like most of us are?????????

Hi

Thank you.

Why not start a few new topics and tell everyone a bit about what's happening in your area(s) and then more people may join in?

There's a few ex- streetlife members who have just been posting about the demise of streetlife and the problems with Next door, on one or two long topics. Fair enough at first but those issues have passed now and to see if there are any of you old friends or even new ones waiting in the wings on here, why not post something interesting or ask questions like you did on Streetlife?

We have loads of members (many unrelated to Streetlife and possibly never heard of it) who have been on this site for years. I'm sure some of them will be happy to join in with general topics.

Why not give it a try everyone?
