Welcome if you're here from Streetlife, as I've suggested. Several other areas are doing the same thing rather than move over to Nextdoor. I don't know what's going to happen to Nextdoor, but I'm sure it won't be allowed to continue as it is, due to the Data Protection /ICO investigations.

Hopefully the Streetlife people will start coming on here in your area soon. There are lots joining in other areas so the word should soon get round with any luck.

I can see that makes two of us thinking on the same line's -- the quicker N/D go back across the pond maybe the better -- no privacy no Nextdoor

I have the email address,s just waiting for me to tip them off -- before I do there are a couple of things I need you to clarify --
Q1 -- Will we still be notified when someone has posted for example -- (See what you neighbours are saying) mine was always by email or promotions -- how do you let punters know.
Q2 -- I like to converse with all people in Ipswich and Suffolk at the same time when posting is this possible on this forum -- our NBP topic affects people in Ipswich and Suffolk

You wont be disappointed I promise:
Question 1: Yes, when you signed up you could select whether you wanted a daily or weekly email to be sent to you with the latest posts from your area. You can update this setting by clicking on "Update your profile". We'll also be updating this email to include posts from nearby - we'll let you know when that's done.
Question 2: Yes all members can see and post in topics from all over the UK. In the next few days we'll be creating a new page to make this easier to view posts from near you as we have a lot of sections now (Lost and found, buy and sell etc) and some sometimes find it hard to navigate.

I was a member on Streetlife but not a chance I will use Nextdoor. Shocking levels of private information is given out to all and sundry on that site. I advise others to google reviews for Nextdoor to see what people think!
