I am organising a reunion in Nuneaton this coming October for the girls in my year at Nuneaton High School for Girls (now Etone College) because it is now 60 years since we started at the school. My year started in September 1964, with some girls joining us in the 6th form in September 1969.  I have managed to contact about half the girls who were in my year but am struggling to trace the others.  If you yourself or anyone you know was born between September 1952 and August 1953 and went to Nuneaton High School, and who I haven't yet been in touch with, I would be very grateful if you could let me know, even if you have no interest in attending the reunion (because then at least I can stop trying to find you!).

Hi I am looking for someone to put together IKEA  wardrobe system for me next week when I move into the area? Thanks Deb 

I am the old woman who hobbles around Headingley with a tattoo on my forehead. I can’t hide my health problems anymore and I am sick of the strange looks I get especially from young people. I have a prolapsed bowel and bladder. I am in immense pain now and I can’t pretend anymore.

I also have osteoporosis and osteoarthritis which is very painful. I show myself up in shops dropping things and I can’t fill my bag properly,items fall on the floor I feel awful about it and I get strange looks.It is embarrassing.

My right wrist is useless due to medical negligence-it healed in the wrong position.A year later they operated on it-breaking it and putting a plate in (I was compensated)

I am on a waiting list for surgery on my bowel etc I have been this way since lockdown and now I have deteriorated I can’t hide it anymore.

I have also been told I will lose my eyesight (dry macular degeneration)

I am not seeking sympathy 

I have a strong need to explain myself.

I just read in the Greenock telegraph that Inverclyde council are having a crunch budget meeting tomorrow 29.02.24 and vote in a 15% council tax rise over the next 2 years. I find this hard to believe as all they seem to do on a yearly basis is make cuts on the benefits of paying your council tax for instance charging extra for brown bin uplifts, No household rubbish disposal at Craigmuschat Quarry Recycling centre to name a few off there cuts. What do other residents of Inverclyde feel about this proposal? And another thing if we are so hard up why spend £110,000 on a clock, £200,000 worth of improvements to boost biodiversity and visitor experience Local Nature Reserve (LNR), which borders Greenock and Gourock.

Hi everyone - posting on here because not sure where else to try .. living in Cheshunt (EN8)

Over the last couple of weeks ive noticed our cat (whos allowed out) returning home without his identification charm on his collar, he also used to have a mini charm with a note and address, contact details on it and that note went missing.

Hes just come through the flap wearing just the collar and another ID disk missing , its the keychain kind where I reckon a person would have to pull it open and twist it off. Nobody has contacted at all using the details and I'm getting really worried about it as not sure who is doing this / why.

He is super friendly so my worry is that without clear ID on him he could go missing or not return for some time, hes microchipped but that would require someone to visit a vet to find out (reckon if someone is trying to take him they wouldnt bother with this).

.. if anyone has any advice / tips to help with this it would be much appreciated, I would love to keep allowing him to roam but really anxious /  at a loss with what to do.

If anyone sees Tiger out without his collar on / could give me any insight as to where he roams please contact me [email protected] thank you so much.
