We had a meet on the Monday 13 th Feb 6pm till 7pm We discussed various uses of paper pots for growing, with demonstration, how to deter cut worms with the planting of paper pot depth. Pricked out some young onion seedlings into paper pots, how to produce labels from milk cartons also how to keep cabbage white butterflies from laying eggs on your broccoli. we only lasted an hour as the glasshouse temperature started to plummet. We had a tea and coffee with cakes and biscuits kindly donated . Also given a parsley plant to put on the windowsill for their use.
Our next meet will be in two weeks on the 27th Feb topic taking cuttings and sowing different size seeds.
