Streetlife

Hello Raypro,

I have just come over from Streetlife after seeing the link from MF. I found Streetlife to be very valuable so hoping it will continue on here. I hadn't heard of this site before but with Streetlife ending and the privacy issue with Nextdoor I am hoping it will be just as successful. 

Hi, Ray etc. Again, just joined from Streetlife for the same reasons - total lack of confidence in Nextdoor, their privacy policy and what they are trying to do to Streetlife. Look forward to renewing acquaintance with many ex-Streetlifers over the next few weeks.

Hello, this is Paul C from Streetlife with a face like the back of a bus. We cannot be worse off for giving this a try, the alternative being virtual oblivion. 

Hi again Paul - I agree, has to be better than nowt, and I think if many ex-Streetlifers join us, then we will have lost nothing, and hopefully (from a cursory look round this site) we will have gained a great deal.

I'm another Streetlife refugee!  I was really shocked when I saw my house number and street advertised on Next Door; living in a very short street of 6 properties, I was easily identifiable even when I removed the house number.

I'm not often very communicative on these type of boards, but I did find Streetlife very useful on several occasions.
