A Northern Bypass for Ipswich (NBP) - 4 replies

Watchfull Posted by Watchfull in Planning applications and proposals in Ipswich discussion on Fri Nov 3, 2017 12:47pm

Just over two years ago I started a debate on streetlife, which quickly turned into a campaign -- we were up to part 4 with approx 1700 hits when streetlife finished and Nextdoor took over -- we turned to ipswi.com but for some reason or other we are finding it hard for it to become known to others -- (publicity wise) -- would anyone be interested if I were to carry on the fight on this site -- Ipswich needs a NBP the traffic situation is getting worse by the day and certainly more so when the Orwell bridge have to shut down for any reason -- if I get any response to this post then I will go into much more detail as to why we need a NBP

Thank you all

Found: ladies gold watch personally engraved - 0 replies

marilynk9lover Posted by marilynk9lover in Lost and found in Ipswich on Fri Oct 6, 2017 10:45am

On Tuesday Oct. 2nd at 15:00 I was leaving a shop in town and in the street I found this watch near the Giles memorial.  It is a F.Hinds quartz gold watch and on the back it is engraved.  It was given to this lady by her children for her birthday. I can only imagine how upset she must be to lose such a precious gift from them.  I have posted on Facebook, gone to the jewellery store to see if they kept records (to no avail).  I also contacted the East Anglian Daily Times (also were not interested).  I called Town 102 radio to ask them to say something over the air and again nobody seemed to care.  I do hope that this forum can help to find the rightful owner.

Thank you,

Marilyn
