Does anybody here have a current PCN that is still in play and was issued before the second week of April?

Depending on whether you mean before the beginning or the end of the second week of April, then yes, I have (multiple; dated 9-16 April).

I have made representations but have not yet had any response.

I'm not sure of the exact date Clare.

The PCNs had a legal flaw up to a certain point and were then corrected.

You might be lucky but you'll have to post on the forum and lets us have a look at the PCNs.

Hi Clare

I successfully appealed by taking a particular approach to the PCN based on the drivers view, the details of which I wrote up to a previous posting on page 3 Sat May 15, 2021 9:21am.

If you circumstance is similar that might hopefully work for you too.

Hi,

I got hit with this from the 12th May : looking at the pictures posted in dropbox (thanks for these) they make sense but not when you're driving with other traffic etc.  I came up college road and went straight into dulwich village northbound : given the improved signage and that I wasn't turning left from Burbage Road do you think any of the reasons to mitigate this to a warning apply or would you advise paying up and moving on ?

Thanks.

Hi Tommy

I'd suggest that mostly it comes down to what can you see as a driver, since the signs are aimed at redirecting them. I've attached one of the pictures I sent in support of my successful challenge. It is no good Southwark having signs that are only viewable for SUV / van etc drivers, they have to be visible to all.

In my case I could not see them at all whilst seated in the driving position before or during the turn, the photo is not taken from a 'clever' angle and was proveable.

That southwark will not provide the 'why' for letting a PCN challenge succeed is something that needs addressing for the entire UK PCN system, i.e no summary judgement equivalent.
