MLF just popped up out of the blue.  I'm an ex Streetlifer who hated Nextdoor for 

Its lack of privacy.  I'm in Taverham but can't find any posts later than 2017!

How do I get something more recent, or isn't there anything?

Sadly the sale of Streetlife to Nextdoor split the Norwich Streetlife community. Regulars  went to either 1 of 4 forums or didn't bother. 

This meant only a few of us came onto here. We tried to maintain threads but it's very difficult with fewer posters. I think a couple of threads have started this year, otherwise it's been very quiet.

A real shame.

It is a shame. I loved it, and my first task of the morning would be to check in on what was new.  Any suggestions which other forum it would be useful to join that's not too far from Taverham?

No, sorry. 2 of the others some went to were started by ex-Streetlifers but they went quiet months before it did on here.  Some did go to Nextdoor because they had business membership. Can't remember the name of the other 1.

Rereading your initial post: yes I had 2 MLF notification emails earlier but when I looked both times, no new posts. Until yours at 6:04pm Wiblet. 

How good it is to have a little chat like this.  Almost like the good old  Streetlife. Thanks for responding - this forum doesn't look quite so neglected now.

If ex Streetlifers were to join in, it could gather momentum.

That's true Ray- we can but hope.  At least it'll be  a bit of fun keeping watch.
