I have yet to find the games guess I will have to do a bit of exploring, nice to have a bit of a chat though pity about your friend not giving this site a chance.

Thanks Jan and Jen, looks like you were lucky in Norwich that quite a few people came over from Streetlife. I think Streetlife blocked me when I tried to suggest alternatives to NextDoor but I did change my profile picture to show this website address in the hope that if any of my posts were left up people may see it 😉. I didn't like the privacy issues of NextDoor - even without your house number their map still pinpoints your exact house so it would be easy to find out. Didn't fancy an influx of door to door sales people, additional junk mail because my name and address had been picked up and sold or people knowing when I am away if I posted for a pet sitter. Happy to chat to anybody and it is useful being able to seek advice which isn't restricted to one area.

Tracy I wish I had thought of using my profile pic to advertise this Web site 😁 we had a good online community on Norwich streetlife and quite a few are on here hopefully with time we will get more, like you I was not going to let them have my address but some people are not so safety conscious I and others did on several occasions remind people not to give out private details for all to see. Whilst some of our Norwich topics might not be relevant to you we often had some very good discussions to follow and join in no matter where you are.

I did find Streetlife easy to navigate and this one slightly harder but I am sure it is just a case of getting used to it. Nice to see some familiar names and Wayne hasn't lost his sense of humour.

I am fascinated by the improbable coincidences that have happened to me. 

I got into a bit of a chat about star signs when I was in a lift in Birmingham. I know no one in Birmingham but it turned out that a woman in the lift had the exact same birthday as me to the day and year. I said that if there was anything in astrology we should have had the same life stories.  We chatted and as we left the lift I told her that I was married with three children -  Sam, Ben and Daisy.  Was I surprised when she told me she was also married, had two boys named Sam and Ben, and her cat was named Daisy! What are the chances?

I have has several experiences like this.    Anyone else?
